My brother-in-law's example instills in me a deeper sense of purpose and accountability. Whether sourcing top talent or collaborating with colleagues, I strive to uphold the same integrity and dedication that Bob exemplified in both his military and civic roles. His story reinforces the importance of teamwork, resilience, and service—principles that guide me every day.

Every November, we pause to reflect. Across the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, and Australia, November 11 is recognized as Veterans Day and Remembrance Day. Moments dedicated to honoring those who served with courage, sacrifice, and resilience. At Gallagher, remembrance is more than a tradition: it reflects our values. As a global organization, we stand together to recognize the individuals and families who have given so much in service, and to support their continued journeys beyond military life.

Honoring Service Across Borders

Though each country observes this day in its own way, the message is universal: to remember with gratitude.

  • In the US, Veterans Day pays tribute to all who served in the armed forces.

  • In the UK, Canada and Australia, Remembrance Day marks the end of World War I and honors those lost in conflict in a national moment of silence to reflect on courage and sacrifice.

For Gallagher, these moments serve as a reminder that our global team is united not only by our work, but also by the values we share: empathy, integrity, and community.

From Service to Civilian Careers

Transitioning from the military into corporate life can be both exciting and challenging. At Gallagher, we are committed to supporting veterans in finding meaningful opportunities that match their unique skills and experience. Through our Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) search feature on the Gallagher Careers Site, veterans can simply enter their MOS code to discover roles aligned with their expertise. This ensures a smoother transition into civilian careers while continuing to grow and make an impact. Because at Gallagher, we believe your service has already proven your leadership, adaptability, and resilience, the very qualities that drive our success together.

If you are a veteran exploring your next career move, visit our Careers Site and enter your MOS code to discover roles that align with your strengths.

Together, we remember. Together, we grow.
