Gallagher is committed to providing a welcoming and rewarding environment for our people.

Our goal is to create a business with a very contemporary dynamic. We are values based and success driven, and want to attract ambitious and entrepreneurial people from all across Australia and abroad.

If that doesn’t sound like a traditional broking office to you, that’s good - we aim to be different!

Gallagher people are encouraged to participate in ongoing professional development. We also provide our people with opportunities to participate in social or community activities and support Gallagher teams across Australia in events such as triathlons, cycling and adventure races. It's all part of making sure our work life is productive, but also FUN!

We foster an environment that values and leverages the diverse talents, perspectives and ideas of all employees so that everyone can reach their full potential. Gallagher is committed to driving an inclusive workplace for the benefit of our clients, employees and the communities in which we live and work.

We are proud to have our Chief Executive Australia, Sarah Lyons, sign Diversity Council Australia’s CEO Pledge with a commitment to stand up for Respect, gender inequality, and making the workplace free of sexual harassment and for it to be a safe place for all employees.

We also proudly embark on our first Reflect RAP (Reconciliation Action Plan) which recognises, supports and creates awareness of our indigenous people, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders.

Another key Inclusion and Diversity initiative at Gallagher is being a key participant of the Lloyd’s Dive In Festival. This is a global movement in the Insurance sector to support the development of inclusive workplace cultures, promoting positive action for diversity.
