What will your day look like?

Every day brings new challenges and opportunities. As a Catastrophe Risk Analyst, you'll:

• Collaborate with clients to audit and model insurance data sets

• Analyze and interpret model outputs, preparing clear and compelling reports

• Present your findings to internal and external stakeholders, sparking strategic discussions

• Respond to real-time catastrophic events, providing critical insights to help insurers protect their policyholders

• Dive into large datasets to uncover trends and develop innovative risk solutions

What are we looking for?

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Business Analytics, Data Science, Earth Science, Geography, Risk Management, etc.)

• Strong Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, macros, conditional formatting, statistical modeling)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Great attention to detail and strong problem-solving mindset

• Willingness to travel to our home office in Rolling Meadows, IL, five times for training (all expenses covered)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Some programming experience (SQL, VBA, or R)

• Internship or work experience in a related field

• Interest in reinsurance broking and risk management
