Hey there, I’m Juan. Since starting at Gallagher early last year, I've had the privilege of leading the Talent Acquisition team in Colombia. Over this time, we've successfully onboarded more than 250 professionals, contributing significantly to the organization’s global growth. Our work has not only enhanced service delivery worldwide but has also allowed us to showcase the incredible talent our country has to offer.

At the heart of our work in Talent Acquisition is a simple but powerful goal: attracting the right talent at the right time. To achieve that, collaboration can’t be transactional it has to be consultative.
A big part of my role involves listening carefully to our stakeholders, understanding their needs, and partnering with them to ensure each hiring decision aligns not only with immediate requirements but also with longer term organizational goals. This approach is strengthened by the tools Gallagher provides, including our Applicant Tracking System, quality programs designed to deliver warm and human experiences, and a strong emphasis on continuous improvement.
The integration of AI powered tools has further enhanced how we work improving efficiency, strengthening decision making, and allowing us to scale our impact while continuing to act as a trusted partner to the business.

When Collaboration Matters Most
One project that truly highlights the power of teamwork was the launch of our first contact center service. This was a particularly demanding moment for the business, requiring high levels of agility without compromising quality especially as this team would become the first point of contact from Colombia for clients in the United States.
Finding and attracting top tier customer service professionals on a scale required strong alignment, resilience, and open communication across the team. By staying closely connected and constantly aligned, we were able to deliver on expectations and successfully support the business through a critical moment of growth.
Differences in perspective and approach are inevitable and, in my experience, necessary for better outcomes. When conflicts or disagreements arise, I try to consciously focus on possibilities rather than obstacles maintaining a solution-oriented mindset.
This has helped us remain resilient, and consistent, even during periods of pressure or uncertainty. It also allowed us to adapt quickly and continue performing with confidence.
