When I joined Strata Solicitors, a Gallagher Bassett Company, straight out of university, I had very little experience and only a general interest in working within the legal field. What I found at Strata Solicitors was a place where training, guidance, and clear progression genuinely shape your career.

Learning Through Real Experience

In my role, I manage high-value and complex non-fault claims for major commercial clients, working across both pre-litigation and post-litigation. The work is varied and hands-on, liaising with solicitors, gathering evidence, negotiating settlements, and ensuring compliance.

This exposure helped me build technical skills quickly. Every case teaches you something new, and that learning becomes the foundation for progression. The training is structured, accessible, and genuinely aligned with your career ambitions.

Progression That Feels Achievable

A key moment in my journey was being recognised for developing a more efficient way to set up claims. This led to me helping establish the Claims Support Team, where I created guidance for new joiners and supported colleagues as they developed. It was the first time I realised how much I’d grown, and how visible progression is here when you show initiative.

A Culture That Supports Development

What I appreciate most about Gallagher Bassett is the balance between professionalism and support. You’re encouraged to collaborate, learn from others, and take ownership of your growth. Mentorship is taken seriously, and conversations about career progression are open and regular.

The focus on training through workshops, coaching, and clear pathways makes it easy to see where you can go next.

Looking Ahead

I entered with limited experience, and now I’m working confidently in a field I truly enjoy. Strata Solicitors has given me the structure and support to build a career I’m proud of, and I’m excited for what comes next.
