Who Are We

Gallagher's Specialty Broking team helps businesses get insurance for tricky or unusual situations. If a company has special risks, like running an airline or building skyscrapers, Gallagher Specialty finds the right insurance to protect them. We make sure businesses are covered for things that regular insurance might not handle. Think of us as experts who solve complicated insurance problems! 

What is the Specialty Early Careers Academy?

This two-year programme offers hands-on experience in insurance broking. You’ll work directly with clients, support your team, analyse data, and solve real-world problems.

  • Specialty Areas: Crisis Management, Financial Lines, Aerospace, General Aviation, Marine Art & Specie, Property, Casualty, and Construction

Your Role and Impact

  • Work directly with clients to understand their needs and safeguard them against risks

  • Support your team with proposals, renewals, and presentations

  • Build strong relationships with insurers to secure the best outcomes

  • Analyse data to identify trends and opportunities

  • Take ownership and solve real-world problems

About You

  • GCSEs (4–9) in English and Maths

  • Predicted minimum of three A-Levels at grade CCC or above (or equivalent)

  • Communication skills and a drive to achieve goals

  • A team player who’s curious, reliable, and ready to grow

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving ability

  • Confident using Microsoft Office

  • Eligible to work in the UK
