What is the Graduate Apprenticeship?

A 5-year, full-time programme based in our Glasgow office within the Global Accounting Centre, combining academic study with hands-on experience. Delivered in partnership with Robert Gordon University (RGU) and ICAS, it leads to a BA (Hons) in Accounting and ICAS Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.

Programme Structure:

Years 1–3: Study with RGU Campus Moodle (online + on-campus workshops)
Years 4–5: Transition to ICAS for advanced professional training
Modules: 4 per year, 10 weeks each
Assessment: Exams, assignments, portfolios, and work-based learning

Learning Format:

  • One on-campus workshop per module

  • Flexible learning from home and office

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must satisfy the minimum entry requirements of SQA Higher: BBBB (must include English and Maths), meet employer eligibility criteria, and maintain eligibility for SAAS funding throughout the duration of the programme. 

Funding Information

How to Apply

Make sure you meet the following criteria:

  • Education: You must have minimum of BBBB, including English & Maths.

  • Location: You should be eligible for Scottish Government funding through SAAS. Check your eligibility here

  • Start Date: Be available to start in August 2026
