As the Director of Producer Recruiting at Gallagher, I’ve had the privilege of supporting the company’s growth and success through strategic talent acquisition. My journey from an Executive Search Associate to my current role has been filled with rewarding experiences, collaborative projects, and countless opportunities for personal and professional development.

I’m excited to share a bit of that journey with you, along with some insights into what makes a career in talent acquisition at Gallagher so fulfilling.

Discovering My Passion for Talent Acquisition

My fascination with human behavior and the dynamics of business naturally led me to a career in talent acquisition. There’s something incredibly rewarding about identifying the right candidates, seeing them thrive, and knowing you’ve played a part in shaping the future of the business.

What drives me most is the opportunity to build diverse, dynamic teams. Diversity brings fresh perspectives, fuels innovation, and strengthens our ability to serve clients. Every hire is a chance to add something new and valuable to the organization, and that’s a responsibility I take seriously.

Evolving Roles and Deepening Engagement

When I first joined Gallagher as an Executive Search Associate, my role focused on partnering with leaders to find strategic support talent. As I progressed into the Director of Producer Recruiting role, my focus shifted to supporting revenue-generating sales hires.

This evolution allowed me to engage more deeply with our sales teams and align recruiting strategies directly with business goals. It’s been incredibly fulfilling to contribute to the company’s growth in such a tangible way. Being part of the journey from identifying a candidate to seeing them succeed in their role is one of the most satisfying aspects of what I do.

The Rewards of Supporting Growth Hiring

One of the most energizing parts of my role is witnessing the excitement of my team when they secure a game-changing hire. There’s a real sense of pride in knowing that our efforts directly impact the bottom line.

It’s not just about filling roles. It’s about building teams that reflect our values, drive our mission forward, and elevate the entire organization. When we see those hires thrive, it reaffirms the importance of thoughtful, strategic recruitment and the power of collaboration across the business.

Advice for Those Starting Their Journey
