Hi, I’m Katie Lownes. Over the years at Gallagher, I’ve had the opportunity to grow into roles that challenged me, inspired me, and pushed me to think differently. My background is rooted in strategic planning and people development, but more than anything, I’m passionate about creating spaces where others can thrive too.

In this article, I want to share a more personal perspective how Gallagher’s culture has shaped my journey, helped me evolve as a leader, and why I believe it’s the heart of what makes this organisation so special.

To me, the culture at Gallagher means being part of a community where people genuinely care not just about performance, but about each other. At its core, Gallagher's culture is defined by a genuine sense of caring. It's a place where people look out for each other, not just as colleagues but as human beings. I’ve always felt like I could bring my full self to work, which has made a big difference in how I lead, collaborate, and support others.
