Job Requisition: Senior Financial Analyst

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional development, with exposure to a range of financial functions. This role is designed for individuals with an interest in finance and business who are eager to grow their skills and make a meaningful impact within a dynamic, supportive environment. The position follows a hybrid work model.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting & Analysis:
    • Support the finance team in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
    • Develop, update, and analyze financial models to aid in budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
    • Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies between actuals and forecasts, providing insights to management on key financial metrics.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting:
    • Assist in the annual budgeting process and support continuous forecasting efforts.
    • Track financial performance by monitoring variances and recommending corrective actions where necessary.
  • Data & Decision Support:
    • Prepare financial presentations and reports for senior management to inform key business decisions.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Product Management, Operations) to ensure data accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
    • Provide financial analysis and operational data to internal stakeholders, including dashboards and KPIs.
  • Operational Performance & Special Projects:
    • Participate in operational benchmarking, cost reduction initiatives, and identify areas for performance improvements.
    • Act as a finance liaison for designated operating locations within the division, providing insights and support.
    • Contribute to special projects and ad-hoc reporting requests, maintaining flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.

About You

Required:

  • Requires Bachelor's Degree and 3 years related experience.
  • Strong PC and Microsoft application skills.
  • Excel expertise required (pivots, V-lookups, macros).


Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • 3 years of relevant experience in a finance or business setting.
  • Experience with financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly, both verbally and in writing.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
