We are looking to recruit a Reporting Analyst to join our Portfolio Management Team (PMO), which forms part of Gallagher’s Change Management Division. This role can be based either in Chelmsford or in Wakefield.
The PMO Reporting Analyst role is a member of the PMO Team that sits within Change Management.  The role is accountable to the PMO Analyst but will also support the Head of PMO in managing the PMO activities as required. The PMO Reporting Analyst role will work closely in collaboration with the other PMO Team members (Onshore and Offshore). 

The role will focus primarily on supporting the development of a management information framework to develop Key Performance Indicators using data from our project management tools and providing analysis and reporting at enterprise and portfolio levels. The role will also support other PMO activities including board pack creation and project finance reporting.

Your Role:

Management Information Analysis and Reporting

  • Supporting the establishment of a common management information and reporting approach for Change data at Portfolio, Programme and Division levels
  • Supporting development of Key Performance Indicators and dashboards
  • Analysing data and identifying trends for management attention
  • Utilising data sources from different tools to create custom reports and dashboards
  • Analysing cost benefits analysis and trends
  • Analysing the root causes of project performance issues generating change requests

Portfolio Support:

  • Coordinating enterprise level reports and information for Central Services initiatives
  • Tracking and reporting on project approvals and adherence to policy/finance/SOX requirements
  • Supporting PMO Analyst governance activities, for example, development of change board materials, creating project plans in Project Management tool, verifying project data
  • Providing PMO support for Central Services programme / projects if required.
  • Coordinating ad hoc steering/operating group slide pack content and data
  • Participating in and supporting PMO continuous improvement initiatives
  • Documenting, agreeing and training Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS) for Onshore/Offshore team activities

Stakeholder Management:

  • Work closely with the onshore and offshore PMO Analysts to align and standardise activities and support PMO Team processes and tools
  • Support the wider Change Management Team and build trusted relationships
  • Build stakeholder relationships outside of Change Management where relevant to the role

Your Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent  
  • Knowledge of financial services industry useful
  • Knowledge of a Change management function or Portfolio Management Office function useful
  • Prior role working in a corporate office environment
  • Proven ability to work without the need for constant direct supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including listening, verbal and written communication
  • Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of stakeholder
  • Experience of using Microsoft Office tools and applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), preferably advanced Excel skills.
  • Set priorities, develop a work schedule, and monitor progress towards goals and report status
  • Pays close attention to detail for example when analysing data
  • Understanding of tables, chart and graph types and their applications in order to present data and information in a structured format
  • Logical and analytical approach to problem solving
  • Able to adapt quickly to changing circumstances
  • Interest in learning about and using new systems and tools
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Travel to different UK offices as require
