We have a superb opportunity available for a forward thinking and creative professional to join our Internal Communications Team.

We’re looking for someone who has experience of internal communications and colleague engagement within large organisations. An outstanding writer with phenomenal attention to detail. You’ll also not be afraid to constructively challenge!

This role will be supporting two of our Senior Internal Communications leaders for three of our diverse UK trading divisions and all of our critical Central Services teams.

Your Role:

  • Deliver key elements of the Internal Communications strategy across multiple internal communications channels
  • Generate compelling and engaging content for all internal channels that is aligned to the business priorities.
  • Manage the day-to-day activity on our core channels – including our intranet – and ensure a calendar of fresh, engaging and educational content.
  • Build a network of people across the UK business who can contribute great content and stories for our internal channels.
  • Support our colleague listening channels and collaboration tools including Chatter, lunch and learns, forums, round tables and surveys
  • Manage the delivery of campaign-led communications, projects and support internal events

Your Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

  • Two years working or equivalent experience in an internal communications or engagement role.
  • Able to write insightful and engaging print and on-line communications, ensuring quality, tone, consistency, and alignment with business style, goals, and objectives.
  • Experience coordinating and managing web content in Microsoft SharePoint. Able to build and maintain intranet pages, lists, libraries, user permissions, queries, etc.
  • Design and implement communications plans, using various media: written, video, intranet, PowerPoint, new/social, and event management.
  • Knowledge of communication platforms and collaboration tools such as ON24, Microsoft Teams, Poppulo and Chatter. Experience of using Adobe Photoshop to produce basic graphics for internal comms platforms. (desirable)
  • Strong editing and proofreading skills; attention to detail is key. Confident translating sophisticated topics into audience-appropriate messaging.
  • Well organised, you thrive in a fast-paced environment whilst delivering on multiple projects. Self-motivated, task-focused and an effective team member; you're happy to go above and beyond.
  • Happy to travel / work unsociable hours when required
