Position Summary:

IT Compliance is responsible for developing and administering data security policies as well as safeguarding information, evaluating existing data security procedures and identifying new areas of risk.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

·        Act as the point of contact for all matters related to compliance, audit and IT SOX

·        Perform periodic compliance review per corporate standards and manage/coordinate remediation actions as defined by the audit team

·        Lead compliance related activities such as OFAC reporting and validation

·        Manage asset inventory and account information

·        Support user management

·        Support annual business continuity and disaster recovery test

·        Assist users in finding secure methods and practices to meet business needs

·        Lead annual security penetration test

·        Lead regular application security testing and monitor remediation of vulnerabilities

·        Conduct periodic gap analysis against industry standards such as ISO 27001

·        Periodically review the IT policy and recommend updates as appropriate

·        Maintain an active familiarity with privacy legislation as it pertains to the insurance, brokerage, and risk management areas.  Recognize global considerations

·        Evaluate the existing methods to ensure data privacy and recommend changes, as needed

·        Recommend and implement tools to enhance security and/or reduce the effort of maintaining a secure environment


·        Bachelor's degree – Computer Science or related field

·        5+ or more years related experience


U.S. Eligibility Requirements:

·        18 years of age or older.

·        Willing to submit to a background investigation; any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation.

·        Unrestricted work authorization to work in the U.S. For U.S. employment opportunities, Risk Placement Services, Inc. hires U.S. citizens, permanent residents, asylees, refugees, and temporary residents. Temporary residence does not include those with non-immigrant work authorization (F, J, H, or L visas), such as students in practical training status. Exceptions to these requirements will be determined based on shortage of qualified candidates with a particular skill. RPS will require proof of work authorization.

·        Willing to execute RPS’ Employee Agreement or Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement which requires, among other things, post-employment obligations relating to non-solicitation, confidentiality and non-disclosure.
