·        Bachelor's Degree in computer science

·        Microsoft Power BI certification is preferred

·        7+ years of experience working with insurance data; understands relationships of premiums, claims, and reinsurance data

o   Understands KPIs, contract, claim, and reinsurance data life cycles

·        7+ years of experience in data warehousing and/or business intelligence unit working with business and IT

·        Very strong technical knowledge in ETL tools (SQL Server SSIS), Databases (SQL Server 2012), OLAP tools (Microsoft SSAS), Reporting Tools (Microsoft SSRS, Power BI)

·        Working knowledge of Alteryx Analytics

·        Ability to work along or in conjunction with the DBA

·        Prior experience with implementation on AZURE Data Factory Architecture

·        Knowledge of SQL DW upgrade and cloud migration strategies

·        Experience with the setup and configuration of Power BI (Power Query, Data Management Gateway, SSAS Tabular Connector)

·        Understanding of operational issues and constraints (e.g. error handling, security)

·        Has good knowledge of standard methodologies, concepts, best practices, and procedures within a Business Intelligence environment

·        18 years of age or older.
