KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • Completion of accredited paralegal program, preferred.

  • Must be able to navigate various court websites throughout the State of California.

  • Must be able to follow complex instructions, and have strong organization/priority setting skills, as well as multi-task.  

  • Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.  Must be able to type at least 50 wpm.

  • Must have sufficient experience with Abacus, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and overall computer usage.  Further, must have experience with Courtcall, e-filing in State Courts, and processing of incoming invoices from vendors.

  • Must also have sufficient experience with office equipment, including photocopier, phone system, computer network system.  

  • Position also requires a minimum of 4 years as a paralegal/legal secretary handling insurance defense matters.


U.S.Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be willing to execute Gallagher's Employee Agreement or Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement, which require, among other things, post-employment obligations relating to non-solicitation, confidentiality and non-disclosure
