What's Required?

  • Financial Planner with a minimum of 5 years of experience
  • Mandatory requirement is for you to hold appropriate regulatory qualification at QCF Level 4 (ie Diploma in Financial Planning) and maintain annual Statement of Professional Standing (SPS)
  • Hold FCA Approved Person CF30 status.
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) as required to maintain and improve knowledge and skills
  • QCF Level 6 (Advanced Diploma or Chartered Status)

Do you have what it takes?

  • We need you to ensure you'll “Treat Customers Fairly” and demonstrate extensive technical knowledge of the financial planning process. You'll cover relevant industry exams and CPD in the following:
  • Products, funds, pensions, markets and appropriate financial instruments.
  • Industry/market changes and regulations
  • You have demonstrable experience within similar role in Financial Services. You're able to show us a previous record of high sales success. You've managed and developed compliant business from new and existing clients in the private client arena. We'd love to hear about high value, specialist and complex client relationships.
  • You're service and sales orientated with strong positive relationship building skills. You're confident and influential when presenting, both internally and externally.
  • You can articulate and agree appropriate fees with clients, ensuring client fully understands what they are paying for; adopting a clear and honest approach.
  • You're organised, with superb interpersonal skills, you thrive when dealing with change in a positive way.
  • Generating and driving new business whilst remaining dedicated in customer-care with excellent planning, analytical skills and strong social skills.
  • Our teams actively deal with ambiguity and have exceptional accuracy and attention to detail; we would also love for you to take initiative and a positive approach when performing in your role.
