Position Summary:

Leads in the design, management and coordination of resources in relation to new and enhanced products. Primarily focused on driving continued improvement in value-driver performance (fees, premium credit, placement) mobilizing additional support from within the Gallagher network and providers, where relevant, to enhance value to clients and business income. Creates and embeds a product development framework, as well as being a lead on product governance and advising on legislative matters across the product groups. 

Key accountabilities further include: 
  • Leading Product Rationalization
  • Consolidating and commercializing existing facilities to obtain greater leverage with markets
  • Identifying niche products
  • Reviewing existing Product Development framework and processes to make recommendations for improvement
  • Monitors the competition and regulatory environment, identifying and analyzing major changes in the industry and looking for possible new partners for the introduction of new services and product features
  • Supervises activity of teams, but does not typically have formal management responsibilities
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8 years of related experience
  • Thorough knowledge of the insurance brokerage industry
  • Advanced Degree
  • Consulting experience, including Change Management, Business Consulting, and Project Implementation disciplines

U.S. Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.  For U.S. employment opportunities, Gallagher hires U.S. citizens, permanent residents, asylees, refugees, and temporary residents. Temporary residence does not include those with non-immigrant work authorization (F, J, H or L visas), such as students in practical training status. Exceptions to these requirements will be determined based on shortage of qualified candidates with a particular skill. Gallagher will require proof of work authorization
  • Must be willing to execute Gallagher's Employee Agreement or Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement, which require, among other things, post-employment obligations relating to non-solicitation, confidentiality and non-disclosure
