The position:
 
Reporting directly to the Branch manager, the Team Leader of Claims Administration   will provide strategic guidance to a team of Claims Administrators located in the heart of Sydney CBD
 
 
Key Activities:
  • Overseeing the performance of the team and ensuring KPI achievement to assist the business in meeting its performance needs according to client contract
  • Acting as a point of escalation for any disputes, following GB’s dispute management framework
  • Completion and/or oversight of completion of staff audits
  • Improve quality and processes across the team
  • Responsible for the people leadership and management of the team
  • Escalation point for the team on technical matters
  • Build and develop external business relationships with the client and external network
  • To ensure a high level of customer service is maintained whilst applying GB and client principles
  • To maintain compliance standards in line with GB and client contractual requirements including authorising payments and daily tasks on Luminous within associated timeframes.
About the Team Leader:
  • Minimum five 5 years insurance experience including two years of directly managing a team within a Claims environment
  • Exposure to or working knowledge of General Insurance
  • Ability to build and develop business relationships with Clients and Service Provider
