Position Summary:

The Solutions Architect will direct, prepare, design, code, test, debug and maintain complex computer programs. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

·        Provide technical leadership, facilitation, analysis and high level architecture & design tasks required for the development of solution architecture.

·        Provide technical support & guide high impact projects to assure that the projects are well architected and aligned with best practices.

·        Create deliverables that help develop target-state guidance (current/future state models, gaps, reusable standards, guidelines, integration design), for evolving the technical platform.

·        Participate in project design review.

·        Create and leverage architecture artifacts.

·        Drive digital innovations leveraging existing technology and IT assets. 

·        Regularly provides coaching, guidance and training to less-experienced analysts / programmers.

·        May be responsible for completion of a phase of a project.

·        Solves user inquiries that arise during day-to-day operations.


·       Bachelor's Degree

·       5 or more years related experience required or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience is required.

·       Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of application systems analysis and programming activities.


U.S. Eligibility Requirements:

·       18 years of age or older.

·       Willing to submit to a background investigation; any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation.

·       Unrestricted work authorization to work in the U.S. For U.S. employment opportunities, Risk Placement Services, Inc. hires U.S. citizens, permanent residents, asylees, refugees, and temporary residents. Temporary residence does not include those with non-immigrant work authorization (F, J, H, or L visas), such as students in practical training status. Exceptions to these requirements will be determined based on shortage of qualified candidates with a particular skill. RPS will require proof of work authorization.

·       Willing to execute RPS’ Employee Agreement or Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement which requires, among other things, post-employment obligations relating to non-solicitation, confidentiality and non-disclosure.
