Position Summary:

The Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power BI, and Azure Collaboration Architect is responsible for maintaining the cloud-based application development life cycle in support of AJG initiatives thereof. The position will be responsible for maintaining the critical cloud-based applications from a DevOps perspective.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide solutions for Dynamics 365 configurations, Power BI issues, and/or integrations with the cloud.
  • Build out the New Dyanmics 365 Architecture and instances.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Dynamics 365 change management processes, administration Center, Power BI back end configurations 
  • Utilize DevOps tool chains and processes
  • Regular usage of Azure Portal configurations and resources
  • Demonstrate knowledge of integrating Dynamics 365 with other cloud based and on-premise applications
  • Develop and document Dynamics 365 and Power BI infrastructure with on-premise tools
  • Provision users with the Microsoft 365 admin center
  • Create security groups with the Microsoft 365 admin center for Dynamics 365 instances
  • Demonstrate leadership ability to back decisions with research and the “why,” and articulate several options, the pros and cons for each, and a recommendation
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Dynamics 365 and Power BI and will interface with the Microsoft engineers on application issues
  • Aid in data steward activities in the production environment
  • Contribute to DevOps development activities and complex development tasks 
  • Troubleshoot and resolution of complex problems within the infrastructure
  • Work on designing/implementing/automation procedures for deployment, configuration, patching and upgrading of systems and applications
  • Work closely with vendors, internal groups and outside agencies to provide technical leadership and solutions
  • Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes
  • Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours.

 
Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, systems analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft CRM
  • 2+ years of experience with Dynamics 365 and the Administration portal
  • 2+ years of experience with Azure administration portal
  • 1 year experience with Power BI administration
  • Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments 
  • Hands on experience designing and deploying complex solutions Azure based applications
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences.
