The position

 

Due to business growth we are currently seeking 2 x Level 1 Service Desk staff to join our corporate office located in Brisbane CBD.  This is a Monday – Friday role working rotating rosters between 7:30am and 6:00pm for a total of 37.5 hours per week


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 
  • Providing first point of contact for all new and existing IT support/technical issues.
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing technical issues over the phone and in person.
  • Ensuring regular feedback is provided to customers regarding incident and service status request
  • Input correctly classified and quality data in the ticketing system for accurate reporting.
  • Understand escalation process and perform this in a timely manner.
  • User account setup and modification

What will you need to succeed in this position?

 
  • Ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical customers
  • Experience in customer service delivery within a technology environment, ideally a service desk or trouble-shooter role
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as unsupervised.
  • Technical skills and experience with Microsoft, specifically Active Directory and Citrix technologies
  • Experience with desktop hardware and software, including operating systems and MS products.
  • Strong customer service focus and a drive to exceed expectations
  • Relevant Industry Certifications, and experience in the Insurance or Financial Services sector would be a plus but not essential.
