The HRCC team is looking for a Senior Recruiter to join their Human Capital Group in Brentwood, TN. The Human Capital Group, A Gallagher Company, is a rapidly growing Retained Executive Search and Leadership Advisory firm founded in 2000. The Senior Recruiter will be a critical part of the recruiting team with responsibilities for leading the overall research and search process, contacting prospective candidates and conducting screening interviews. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Consultant(s) while partnering with the Director of Recruiting to develop a focused search strategy.
  • Manage multiple clients/searches with changing priorities; possess a strong work ethic and an innate sense of follow-up and persistence in daily tasks.
  • Proactively engages in discussions to identify opportunities and needs for improvement, across all areas of recruitment.
  • Map role criteria, define position description and document specifications.
  • Prepare and maintain contacts, notes, documents and closely monitor search progress within internal database.
  • Identify prospective candidates through targeted company research, industry sources/networking, relevant prior searches and internal sources.
  • Conduct in-depth phone interviews to qualify prospective candidates against position requirements and key competencies; attract qualified candidates to the client assignment.
  • Shows strength in research and contacting / having detailed conversations / interviews with candidates up to the C-Suite level.
  • Maintain progress, status and market feedback reports for weekly updates with the Consultant and Director of Recruiting.
  • Proactively audit search status results on an ongoing basis to ensure that as the search progresses the research strategy is also refined.
  • Bachelor's degree and 3 years related experience required. 
  • Strong working knowledge of employment laws and regulations. 
U.S. Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.  For U.S. employment opportunities, Gallagher hires U.S. citizens, permanent residents, asylees, refugees, and temporary residents. Temporary residence does not include those with non-immigrant work authorization (F, J, H or L visas), such as students in practical training status. Exceptions to these requirements will be determined based on shortage of qualified candidates with a particular skill. Gallagher will require proof of work authorization.
  • Must be willing to execute Gallagher's Employee Agreement or Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement, which require, among other things, post-employment obligations relating to non-solicitation, confidentiality and non-disclosure.
