The Brand & Partnerships role is integral to growing awareness and connection with the Gallagher brand in Australia and the Asia Pacific region, ensuring the brand is presented consistently and supports the broader demand generation campaigns driven by divisional marketing teams. The role requires close collaboration with the global Brand team and regional marketing teams to co-ordinate and cascade brand build campaigns into the region and measure their impact and cut-through of our target value propositions. It also requires a person who is confident and curious to explore new opportunities and ideas for growth. Working closely with the Head of Marketing APAC and divisional marketing leaders, the role requires a person who can bring the brand to life and work with ease across the brand marketing, partnerships and M&A space and is a self-motivated and curious person who is eager to explore new perspectives. Integral to this role is the ability to confidently champion the brand and work with the business to create a meaningful connection between brand, client experience, and organic growth.

Key accountabilities include: 

  • Strategy, planning and process – in collaboration with the corporate Brand team to drive corporate brand campaigns in the region, maintaining brand guidelines and supporting assets, and developing processes to streamline Gallagher branded content delivery, review and approval. Work with the Head of Marketing & Communications (APAC) to negotiate strategic sponsorships and achieve the best possible mix of brand activation benefits.
  • Brand build campaigns – deliver brand marketing and creative design that supports agreed business goals and targets (lead generation, whitespace & retention), partnering with creative, digital and media agencies when specialist capability and content is required
  • M&A – integration of new merger partners, brand immersion, and managing ongoing brand transition requirements post-merger, securing additional resourcing to manage M&A related brand and marketing activity when required
  • Sponsorships and signature events – in partnership with the divisional marketing leads, working with the business to develop a signature client events platform for Australia, and coordinating the activation of strategic sponsorship related benefits
  • Brand measurement, analysis and reporting (supported by corporate team) – client sentiment (NPS) and general brand sentiment, community growth (social)
  • Teamwork and collaboration – working cross-functionally with Sales, Business Development, Claims and Marketing functions to integrate brand campaigns with front-line teams. Building relationships with external support partners and vendors.

Qualifications and experience required

  • Degree qualified in a Marketing or Brand related discipline and/or a demonstrated background in embedding a brand into a corporate organization with a diverse customer base
  • Experience in measuring and tracking brand sentiment, customer satisfaction and advocacy and competitor analysis, to demonstrate the impact of brand focused initiatives and flag shifts in sentiment and potential reputation issues.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills including using project/activity plans
  • Proven accountability for Brand and Marketing KPIs, planning and budget management
  • Experience of developing brand activation campaigns, in particular where innovative application of digital and technology that changes the conversation and perception of a brand in the market
  • Motivated to lift and enhance the client experience through values driven brand activation
