Position Summary:

Primarily focused on collaborating with Sales and Account Management teams to provide underwriting, marketing, and/or benefit plan analysis and support. Performs financial analysis on behalf of clients, and provides consultation to clients around analytical findings.

Key responsibilities also include:

Compiling pertinent census data and/or financial information as required to prepare RFP.
Analyzing utilization data for results summary.
Submitting, reviewing and comparing RFP responses.
Creating benefit and rate comparisons as well as total cost exhibits.
Preparing and presenting materials for strategic planning, renewal and marketing results.
Has direct customer contact.
May also act as analytical or procedural expert and represent team on cross-functional process or project deliverables.

Required:

Bachelor's degree and minimum 4 years related experience.
Proficiency with software programs, such as excel, and mathematical calculations.
Strong PC and Microsoft application skills, including Word and Excel.
Basic understanding of insurance concepts.
Excellent oral and written communication ability

Desired:

Knowledge in using the analytical approach to problem solving.

The successful candidate will join a financial management team which supports a growing number of captive insurance companies under management. A key responsibility will include executing accounting and financial management process efficiencies to support captives domiciled in a number of locations.
A background in accounting.
Strong Excel skills and the ability to confidently manage, process and analyze large volumes of data across multiple clients in order to meet deadlines.
A positive attitude and the ability to work well with colleagues in various geographic locations.
A commitment to making valuable contributions to a finance team which often needs to perform bespoke financial analysis to support our clients.
 

Required:
