What is the role?
We have an excellent opportunity for a Claims Executive to join our national claims team based in our North Sydney  office. 
Working within a professional, high performing team, you will be responsible for your own broad portfolio of claims including property, liability and some other short and long tail claims. You will help drive business forward by assisting our brokers to identify opportunities through claims analysis. 

More specifically, you will be:
  • Overseeing allocated claims including, but not limited to, complex property,construction and liability claims
  • Providing claims advice and instructions to our employees, solicitors and assessors
  • Claims assessing - interpreting policy wording and reviewing circumstances
  • Liaising with clients and insurers to resolve queries

What are we looking for?
As our successful candidate, you will demonstrate:
  • Strong knowledge of and experience in insurance and claims advocacy, particularly within complex property or liability claims.  
  • The ability to build strong relationships with our brokers, clients and insurers
  • An aptitude to solve problems with strong influencing skills to advocate challenging claims with our insurers 
  • Sound decision making capabilities and excellent communication skills
