Person Specification:

  • Degree qualified or similar experience
  • You demonstrate significant experience working in the insurance market from broking, underwriting or a loss adjusting field. You have a deep understanding of all major classes of insurance.
  • Your dedicated ability to negotiate and influence whilst maintaining close, positive working relationships is outstanding.
  • With a highly analytical mind, you're comfortable when compiling reports, analysing findings and making valued recommendations. You're keen to make a difference and that clearly shows in your previous experience.
  • You are detail-oriented when working on a bid, but also can think strategically about our bid management strategy as a whole.
  • You understand the bid process from start to finish; including final design and delivery timeframes and pressures.
  • You command respect and transparency from colleagues at all levels by leading changes from the front. You set correct examples for your team to follow and aspire to.
  • You the commercial acumen to deliver on your own, but you enjoy working within a larger team.
  • You believe in project management training and mentoring less experienced members of the team.

IT Skills

  • Competence & strong capability in using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe and Online Portals.
  • Awareness and knowledge of graphic design, e.g. styles,
