We have an opportunity for a Sales Director to join us, we are offering this role to work from any of our UK office locations.

Your Role:

  • Day to day management of the implementation of the Sales strategy. Communicating and monitoring workload and delivery. Achieving production targets and SLAs through the smooth and efficient operating of well supported team.
  • Develop a strategy to ensure targets and growth plans are clear and met. Report on and manage the quality, quantity and pipeline of leads. Work alongside all functions to increase the quality and quantity of leads, to ensure the company achieves its growth goals
  • Coach the team effectively using formal sales techniques; ensure they are driven and passionate about delivering excellent customer service. Ensure that the team has the required skills to achieve performance targets, providing coaching and support to address any shortfalls
  • Act as a referral point for technical and system queries.



Your Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

  • Cert CII, Dip CII and educated to A-Level standard or equivalent with a robust knowledge of general insurance products and services.
  • Strong sales management experience gained in a commercial setting along with a proven track record of delivering against sales targets within a regulated, measurable framework.
  • Experience of dealing with complex relationships, confident using mentoring / feedback techniques, tactical negotiation and influencing others.
  • Evidence of effectively prioritising risks to manage concurrent workflow. Good knowledge of client market and insurance industry network
  • Excellent people management skills with particular mentoring emphasis. Outstanding interpersonal skills, organisational skills for forward planning.
  • Results driven mind-set, able to engage and motivate others, manages change and ambiguity with ease.
  • Empathy and engagement with the highest degree of ethics and integrity in client focus
  • Eligible to work in the UK
