How will I contribute to the business?

As the Regional Financial Analyst you be a partner to our branch management team. With the regional controller, you guide and execute the regional financial strategy. As a senior member of the team, you ensure clarity and accuracy in reporting and provide mentorship to junior staff.

  • You actively lead variance analysis on the branch’s book of business/rolling forecast
  • You utilize your core FP&A skills to analysis the branch results and advise the branches. You will need to clearly articulate the implications of variances and help the team brainstorm solutions
  • You develop a deep understanding of the financial drivers in our business to provide decision support and create goals around how to improve performance, minimize risk, and capture new opportunities
  • You share your expertise with junior teammates and guide them in moving from tactical to strategic thinkers
  • You prepare your staff accountants to meet with producers/account managers on their budgets and facilitate tough conversations to improve team financials
  • You will actively participate in the M&A Process: Support the M&A team and take the lead on financial integration. You create awareness around potential integration challenges and provide solutions.
  • You will coordinate and respond to inquiries about office bonus programs and effectively manage unique bonus programs from new merger partners
  • You will collaborate with the GBS Finance team in order to build and maintain standard methodologies across the region
  • You will be a key player in month end close by reviewing your assigned P&L to make journal entries and by facilitating SOX documentation and B/S reconciliations as needed.

Do I have what it takes to be considered? 
  • Bachelor's degree (Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration).
  • 5 or more years of related work experience required.
  • Broad knowledge of accounting practices/principles and preparation of strategic recommendations to management.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel application and functions.  
Desired:
  • CPA, MBA or other financial certification.

U.S. Eligibility Requirements:
