Position Summary:

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Recruits, screens, and interviews internal and external applicants to fill current or expected job vacancies. Reviews and evaluates applicant's work history, education, training, and other qualifications.
  • Notifies applicants of consideration or rejection; interviews those selected that meet organization's qualifications.
  • Informs candidates of job's duties/responsibilities, compensation and benefits programs, work schedule/conditions, career advancement opportunities, etc.
  • Conducts and scores, or arranges for, testing of applicants; records results and other relevant information.
  • Refers candidates to individual placing job order.
  • Performs reference and background checks.
  • Prepares and extends job offers; prepares and/or authorizes appropriate paperwork.
  • Participates in the design and placement of employment advertising.
  • Speaks with/to a variety of external contacts to provide information regarding job possibilities and career opportunities.
  • Arranges for interviews and travel/lodging of selected applicants at company's expense, as necessary.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and 3 years related experience.
  • Proficient with employment laws and related compliance issues.

Work Traits:

  • Strong written verbal and written communication skills.
  • Posses the ability to manage multiple assignments.

U.S. Eligibility Requirements:

  • Willing to submit to a background investigation; any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation.
  • Unrestricted work authorization to work in the U.S. For U.S. employment opportunities, Risk Placement Services, Inc. hires U.S. citizens, permanent residents, asylees, refugees, and temporary residents. Temporary residence does not include those with non-immigrant work authorization (F, J, H, or L visas), such as students in practical training status.  Exceptions to these requirements will be determined based on shortage of qualified candidates with a particular skill. RPS will require proof of work authorization.
  • Willing to execute RPS’ Employee Agreement or Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement which requires, among other things, post-employment obligations relating to non-solicitation, confidentiality and non-disclosure.
