Position Summary:

The QA and Testing Manager will drive quality across IT projects by setting and enforcing quality and testing standards.  This role will oversee the testing team, as well as work with project teams to oversee testing and UAT efforts.  IT Projects in general are either commercial software implementations, platform implementations or custom development projects.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure that IT projects are delivered with high quality, meet requirements and business objectives.
  • Meet with project teams and business groups to set testing expectations including roles/responsibilities.
  • Lead UAT phase, including facilitating meetings between business and IT staff.
  • Define testing standards and best practices.
  • Implement and grow test automation and load testing practices.
  • Work with scrum teams on custom development projects to ensure quality.
  • Review QA tools and material and update/refresh to keep them up to date.
  • Has direct reports and manages the QA team staff.
  • Provide coaching, guidance and training to QA staff.


  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, related technical major, or business
  • 7 or more years related experience
  • In-depth knowledge in writing test strategy and test plan documents
  • Well versed in test automation and load testing


U.S. Eligibility Requirements:

  • 18 years of age or older.
