We are currently seeking a proven professional to have responsibility for the management of our Network and Telephony projects. This means the design and implementation; it's a challenging role within a dynamic environment. Do you think you can deliver against budget and plan?

Your Role: 

  • As our Lead Network Engineer you will deal with Technical Design Authority in the UK along with Technical high and low level designs and documentation. 
  • You will present your creative and Technical Solutions to members of our Executive committee and Chief Information Officer Level; relying heavily on your good communication skills.
  • You handle our planning, Architecture R&D and Strategy. Not forgetting Security Initiatives such as Penetration Testing. Yours is a hands-on role that will see you immersed in to new technologies and chances to create difference.
  • Hands-on experience in the Architecture and Design of infrastructure based Enterprise Services, including High Availability, Site Security and Disaster Recovery. Includes Evaluations, Automations, Design, Delivery and Distribution.

Your Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

  • Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent in computer science or a related field, CCNP, CEH and TOGAF desirable and ITIL at Foundation level.
  • You've worked using Active Directory, Microsoft, Riverbed, Cisco MDS 9513 Fabric switches and have demonstrable experience of working within organisations audited against PCI, ISO27001 and SOX.
  • Experience of managing transformation, innovation & targeted service delivery within large-scale 24/7 enterprise environments; hosting hundreds of servers, complex networks and multiple locations.
  • You demonstrate good interpersonal skills with the confidence to direct a successful team. Engaging with, developing and providing mentorship when needed.
  • You have eligibility to work in the UK.
