What are we looking for?
First and foremost, we’re looking for someone passionate about helping drive our culture of client advocacy. In addition to this, as the successful candidate you will be/have:

 

  • Considerable general insurance technical claims management and leadership experienced gained either in a broker, underwriter, claims service provider, law firm or underwriting agency.
  • Strong technical knowledge that spans commercial and corporate general insurance with a deep understanding of complex insurance programs and how claims fit into these.
  • Legally qualified
  • Extensive experience in leading long tail claims in particular financial and professional lines - particularly catastrophic losses.
  • A proven ability to coach and improve the claim skills of others

 

You will have exceptional stakeholder management skills and the ability to think strategically and implement change practically. You will be highly pragmatic in reaching cost effective solutions and find ways to have claims paid.
