Multinational Practice Leader

Position Summary
The Multinational branch manager will be accountable for growing and strategically positioning Gallagher Benefit Services as an industry leader providing tailored Multinational benefit and HR Solutions for clients and prospects. This will be accomplished by driving consistency, best practices, efficiency and quality of work products and processes in each area of the Multinational Practice (GVisor, IBIS Academy, Global Mobility Consulting, and Global (i.e, Local National) Benefits Consulting) so that we deliver best in class services and resources to improve client sales, satisfaction, and retention.
In addition, the person will assist with the management of related revenue growth activities and support the maintenance and improvement of the division’s competitive market position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide Divisional Multinational Practice leadership by driving consistent messaging and collaboration across the teams
• Responsible for P&L, sales and client delivery
• Work directly with regional leadership and divisional operations leaders to ensure alignment of resources, consistent delivery of services, and a balanced focus on divisional and regional initiatives.
• Serve in the role of Multinational Practice Leader, interacting with other members of the GBS Growth Committee promoting the deployment of the Gallagher Better Works value proposition across all clients and prospects.
• Responsible for overall strategy, results and coordination of the marketing and sales activities associated with potential clients
• Provide guidance and direction to divisional and regional leadership as well as other employee benefits team members to empower them to serve as a resource to potential clients
• Provide consulting expertise regarding Multinational industry trends to the Division
• Responsible for overseeing internal and external resources
• Provide Multinational thought leadership and identify opportunities and solutions that will facilitate organic growth
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell; build executable and sustainable cross-selling strategy
• Define revenue opportunity clients through a tiered approach
• Build specific marketing materials for practice including integration with other practice areas
• Formalize Multinational Practice Area communications
• Develop opportunities for additional revenue to the regions through training of the sales and consultant teams
• Overall responsibility for the international partner network (Gallagher Global Alliance).
• Accountable for the effective and efficient delivery of all 4 segments of the business: GVisor, IBIS Academy, Global Mobility Consulting, and Global (i.e, Local National) Benefits Consulting
Management:
• Build Divisional Resources to support the teams across the regions
• Responsible and accountable for Multinational P&L
• Recruit new talent for current team(s) and merger partners
• Work with HR to ensure team engagement, retention, and career pathing
• Ensure clear objectives are set, regular individual performance reviews are carried out and that rewards are directly linked to performance against objectives
• Develop the skills, leadership and experience levels of the direct reporting senior managers and Operations Directors to ensure a potential successor to these roles could come from within
• Create environment where the team can maximize productivity
• Provide clear, hands-on leadership and foster a “growth culture” consistent with the organization’s business goals

Required
• Bachelor’s
Degree, professional certification, or equivalent training and experience
required, Master’s Degree preferred; advanced knowledge of International
Employee Benefits Consulting required
• 10 years
of experience in International Consulting, sales, and services
• Technical
expertise of International employee benefits consulting products and concepts,
keen understanding of accepted insurance principals and regulatory requirements
• More than
10 years’ experience in a supervisory or management role preferred
• Multi-level
relationship building skills, internally and externally
• Strong
leadership, negotiation and written communication ability

• Prior
experience in accountability of running own P&L
