About the role...

Reporting into our Marketing Director, this role supports the execution of our marketing strategy and our global expansion across the US, the UK, Australia and Canada by helping:

  • Drive brand awareness and recognition
  • Build our reputation and position us as a thought leader in our markets
  • Differentiate us from our competitors
  • Promote our key services and products



Marketing execution

  • Implement our marketing campaigns, including:

• Planning – develop marketing plans, including objectives, audiences, tactics, timeline and measurement

• Project management – liaise with internal teams/stakeholders and other marketing team within Gallagher to coordinate and deliver campaigns o Campaign execution – website updates, email marketing, social media activity

• Manage approvals

  • Co-ordination and logistics support for events (Roundtables, industry events, webinars)
  • Liaison with our external partners Channel management
  • Contribute to the evolution of our website (www.ajg.com/employeeexperience) and manage regular updates
  • Own and manage the editorial calendar for our social channels
  • Co-ordinate the execution of our newsletter Reporting and ongoing improvement
  • Manage our impact measurement strategy – monitor our web traffic, social media following, email marketing stats, etc. and keep track of campaign impact on new business won



About you...


  • A degree in communication, journalism, marketing or business would be a plus


  • Excellent writer – able to strike the right tone throughout our channels and materials
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good time management - Ability to manage multiple campaigns/events
  • Autonomous - Ability to work on own initiative Personality
  • Curious
  • Great at building relationship
  • Positive mindset and “can do” attitude Experience
  • Previous experience in marketing or communication Technical Knowledge
  • Comfortable with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, databases and general IT skills
  • Good understanding of social media, esp. LinkedIn and Twitter
