Your role:

  • As the International Benefits Director, you will provide thought leadership in crafting strategic roadmaps for development of multifaceted international benefits solutions and policies in alignment to overall strategy and guidelines across multi divisional business structure.
  • In this role you will establish and measure key benefit program metrics. Working cross functionally with HR, Compensation, and Business leaders, you will regularly benchmark company programs and analyze external trends in order to proactively adjust company plans and programs to ensure market competitiveness.
  • You will focus on countries outside of the US.
  • A critical component of this role will be executing the design and delivery of innovative benefits solutions that are inclusive of the needs of distinct employee populations to attract and retain diverse top talent.
  • You will provide tactical and operational leadership in the design, development, implementation, administration, and communication of benefits policies and procedures.
  • The Global Director will develop and maintain effective communication strategies to drive employee awareness and transparency of all benefits policies.
  • Acting as the guardian of the day-to-day technical and functional knowledge for all benefits programs, you will be the first stop for information.
  • Leadership responsibilities for this role may include management of a small team of Benefits Professionals, and will be looked to as the functional head for benefits programs.
  • You will be the point of contact for vendors, partnerships, consultants, and additional third-party professionals relevant to the programs and policies.
  • Compliance to regional legal and regulatory requirements, globally is critical to be successful.
  • Lead international due diligence efforts and manage integrations relative to current and potential mergers and acquisitions.







  • Bachelor’s degree; 8 years related experience required.  

  • Advanced in subject matter, and has an expert level knowledge of benefits, including best practice, current trends, technologies, products and legislative proceedings.



  • Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) accreditation.

  • Savvy and thoughtful communicator.  

  • Excellent presentation, organization and interpersonal skills.  

  • Demonstrated analytical and problem resolution skills.  

  • A passion for continuous improvement.


U.S. Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be willing to execute Gallagher's Employee Agreement or Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement, which require, among other things, post-employment obligations relating to non-solicitation, confidentiality and non-disclosure
