Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications or related field with a thorough understanding of communications principles and practices.
  • 6+ years of progressive communications experience, preferably in corporate communications with a focus on internal communications and driving change initiatives.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong writing, proofing and editorial skills. 

 

Skills and Expertise:

  • Experience executing B2B marketing projects that have resulted in increased brand visibility and lead generation
  • Excellent, customer-centric oral and written communication skills, with an emphasis on grammar, copywriting, and proofreading
  • Equally strong communication skills to work with subject matter experts to produce communications in a way that is meaningful and relevant to the target audience
  • Experience in editing and proofreading all types of copy, both technical and narrative
  • Knowledge of Associated Press Style guidelines
  • Sets priorities with the ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Utilizes excellent time management skills and works under tight deadlines
  • Provides a consistent level of high quality and accuracy in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Tech savvy and desire to learn different platforms quickly
  • Ability to work independently while being able to establish strong working relationships with a network of internal and external staff
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize those projects to meet desired deadlines
  • Knowledge in MS Office, Adobe Creative, Poppulo and SharePoint along with demonstrated skills across social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google+ etc.

U.S. Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be willing to execute Gallagher’s Employee Agreement or Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement which requires, among other things, post-employment obligations relating to non-solicitation, confidentiality and non-disclosure
