Position Summary:

As an Insurance Processing Associate you would be providing support to business operations, by providing administrative support, processing tasks and transactions, data entry of client information and other similar activities. You may perform processing tasks in one or more of the following areas: policy reviews, claims entry, cancellations, endorsements, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform standard processing tasks using established standard operating procedures, principles, and concepts.
  • Prepare source data by compiling and organizing.
  • Routine reporting on processing activities.
  • Maintain specialized and comprehensive records and filing.
  • Work in multiple software platforms.
  • Identify and resolve errors or issues of concern.
  • Execute on standard methodologies and processes, using existing systems and shared services to work as effectively and efficiently as possible.
  • Adhere to efficiency/productivity and process standards, such as data and document requirements, timelines, tool and resource usage, etc.





  • High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 1 year of related experience.
  • Strong typing and basic computer skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic math skills.


  • Previous insurance experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Associate's degree, professional certification, or equivalent training and experience preferred.
  • Previous customer service experience desirable.

U.S. Eligibility Requirements:

  • Willing to submit to a background investigation; any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation.
  • Unrestricted work authorization to work in the U.S. For U.S. employment opportunities, Risk Placement Services, Inc. hires U.S. citizens, permanent residents, asylees, refugees, and temporary residents. Temporary residence does not include those with non-immigrant work authorization (F, J, H, or L visas), such as students in practical training status.  Exceptions to these requirements will be determined based on shortage of qualified candidates with a particular skill. RPS will require proof of work authorization.
  • Willing to execute RPS’ Employee Agreement or Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement which requires, among other things, post-employment obligations relating to non-solicitation, confidentiality and non-disclosure.
