Position Summary:
  • Hybrid supervisor & sales role. Directly manages up to 5 Inside Sales Representatives. Drives new business revenue growth by delivering comprehensive solutions that meet clients’ unique needs and growing Gallagher's share of the Small Business Insurance market. Manages staff via personalized coaching and performance management.  Recruits, develops and retains top talent.   Responsible for meeting pre-determined revenue goals through individual sales production and the activities of direct reports. Hybrid role 75% production/25% leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Implements, monitors, and drives a high performance sales culture by coaching, training, and performance management.
  • Manages day-to-day performance of staff.
  • Responsible for sales meeting agendas, training initiatives, and performance reviews.
  • Utilizes Salesforce to track individual production and manage sales metrics including capacity, sales pipeline, lead to quote and quote to close conversion rates, etc.
  • Ensures staff are effectively utilizing Salesforce as a work flow and pipeline management tool.
  • Reports monthly forecasts and production to sales targets to leadership on monthly basis.   
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree with 4+ years commercial sales experience –OR– High School degree/GED with 8+ years commercial sales experience. 
  • Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Insurance licensing required.
  • Proven track record of sales success against company provided sales targets.
  • Prior experience managing to sales performance metrics, detailed forecasting and production reporting.
  • Keen understanding of professional and industry standards/practices as well as small business insurance carriers and wholesalers.

  • Must be willing to execute Gallagher's Employee Agreement or Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement, which require, among other things, post-employment obligations relating to non-solicitation, confidentiality and non-disclosure
