Do you thrive when designing and maintaining plans? Are you confident when identifying and managing risks? We are looking to recruit a Project Manager to join our team to plan and manage the delivery of multiple infrastructure projects.


Your main aim is to work with key partners to clarify project criteria; and provide leadership, supervision and coaching to your team.


Your Role:

  • The role will mean you are the lead point of accountability. You will define, agree and manage project scope alongside outputs to ensure business requirements are understood, agreed and met.
  • You're responsible for High-Level and overall Tracking, Dashboards, Reports and Project Documentation in relation to M&A Projects. This includes keeping an eye on the budget.
  • Using your excellent attention to detail, you will ensure that AJG’s Project Governance is adhered to, providing all necessary Project documentation (PID’s, RAG Reports etc.)
  • You creatively present technical solutions to us and you are credible at both exec and CIO level.
  • Lead and take responsibility for Tracking and Reporting against Budget, all project risk and issue escalations.
  • We require someone to ensure that all requests for support are dealt with according to set standards and procedures, for this, you will use your superb communication skills.
  • You have hands-on experience in abundance and love the challenge of running multiple Infrastructure Projects.
  • Align with AJG Professional Standards Manual in accordance with statutory requirements for role with specific attention, but not limited to Managing Client information, Whistle Blowing, Treating Customers Fairly.

Your Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

  • With good interpersonal skills, you're confident in your problem solving ability and keen to make decisions that deliver. With excellent commercial acumen, you have a keen and pragmatic approach to applying regulatory requirements.
  • You enjoy working to strict deadlines, demonstrating strong time management and priorotisation skills. The key to your success lies in your dedicated, “can do” attitude and desire to make a difference.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships, build rapport to achieve the resolution to any issues in a prompt manner.
  • You are educated to degree level or have the equivalent in computer science or a related field. Prince 2 or equivalent (PMP) and ITIL (Foundation)
  • Extensive experience in the implementation, delivery and handling of infrastructure based services, including high availability, site security and disaster recovery.
  • As a leader, you will convey a good understanding of the implications of new technologies and processes for the wider business environment and be familiar with the full IT project life cycle.
  • Experience of leading evolution, innovation and targeted service delivery. You have demonstrable experience in large-scale 24/7 enterprise environments hosting hundreds of servers, complex networks and multiple locations.
  • Keen on forward planning, you quickly adapt to ever evolving demands and priorities. You are able to see potential problems before they happen and seek advice when required
  • You are an ambitious achiever who gains happiness from providing excellent customer service. We value someone who can quickly grasp and interpret salient information with the ability to take a can-do approach without the need for supervision.
  • You will have eligibility to work in the UK
