We're seeking a highly experienced Infrastructure Application Architect to join our to join our M&A Infrastructure IT function and provide sound expertise. You'll hold accountablility for the architecture and design of our integrating acquired systems on to Gallagher standard Infrastructure or propose new requirements in line with standards where required. You'll be responsible for maintaining  the integrity of our IT architecture by ensuring all proposed acquisition integration is aligned with the overall architectural blueprint. This role could be based out of London, Wakefield or Croydon on a hybrid basis 



What you'll be doing:

• Outline and govern the implementation of IT solutions that reflect business requirements; enable business capability and reduce the overall technical design debt.

• Provide advice, communicating key decisions and ensuring IT solutions enforce appropriate architecture standards

• Take overall Solution Architecture & Design leadership & accountability for M&A integration to validate the design and implementation of architectural standards and guidelines.

• Resolve Key Design Decisions to ensure the development of efficient, operable and robust systems. Work with BAU Infrastructure and Information Management teams to ensure systems transformations are clearly understood and aligned

• Provide technical advice and support to Business, IT and 3rd Party partners to ensure they meet required standards.

• Offer technology insight to latest technology trends and new technologies to help deliver new and innovative IT solutions. 

Your Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

  • Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent with TOGAF qualification.
  • Full grasp of Software Delivery Lifecycle and different development methodologies, understand industry standard architecture framework and deep architecture domain expertise
  • A successful Technology-based career ideally in application development, experience of working in multi-disciplinary teams with designers and developers and running a targeted service delivery.
  • Good social skills, with a high degree of organisational and planning capability, autonomy in own workload and within a team.
  • Excellent analytical & interpretive skills, able to balance and process large amounts of data
  • Ability to adapt to ever evolving demands and priorities
  • Eligible to work in the UK
