Business/Professional Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Web Design or Marketing
  • Analytical aptitude; ability to research, analyze, synthesize, recommend and implement
  • Excellent organizational, communication and project management skills
  • Three to five years' experience in web and social media marketing preferred; experience with CMS is a plus
  • Working knowledge and understanding of web, social, search and paid best practices, including integrating mediums and touch points to create multi-channel campaigns
  • Hands-on experience with managing web content, social channels and mobile platforms
  • Experience with understanding and interpreting web analytics and metrics to increase performance and drive growth
  • Familiarity with web standards, content management systems and tenets/implementation of SEO
  • Excellent, customer-centric oral and written communication skills, with an emphasis on grammar and copywriting
  • Proficiency in Windows XP, Windows 7, Microsoft Office 2010

Additional Skills (Not Required):

  • Web design skills (HTML, CSS)
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash)

  • Impeccable eye for detail, strong organization skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Highly motivated with a strong work ethic; able to operate independently and with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work and interact smoothly and effectively across multiple marketing channels and in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to handle pressure, prioritize and manage mutiple projects simultaneously and accurately to meet tight deadlines
  • Analytical and creative thinker with excellent time management and problem solving skills
  • Innovative and self-starter who looks for opportunities to improve processes and develop new processes
 
U.S. Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be willing to execute Gallagher's Employee Agreement or Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement, which require, among other things, post-employment obligations relating to non-solicitation, confidentiality and non-disclosure
