We're recruiting an effective and dedicated IBA Cashier Manager to manage our IBA team in Glasgow.

Highly accurate, with a detailed approach in making sure all obstacles are considered and overcome. Focussing on making improvements, mentoring your team and ultimately providing customer happiness.

In addition to the daily management and leadership of their team, the Cashier Manager is expected to deliver successful initiatives that help Gallagher to achieve strategic goals.

Your Role:

  • Perform the day-to-day management of approximately 300 bank accounts and a team of c.30 colleagues.
  • Assist and often lead IBA-related projects, ensuring results are met in-line with project goals
  • Assist the off-shore team with system requirements; providing regular support and constructive feedback to help maintain results
  • Maintain key relationships with all IBA functions to comprehend key dependencies of each area
  • Manage relationships with key business divisions to ensure service delivery
  • Assist in technical issues and utilise problem solving skills to achieve solutions
  • Ensure compliance is maintained relating to the handling of Client Money procedures within the team and at branch level
  • Create clear goals and implement forward planning of Team Leaders to ensure month-end commitments are achieved with quality
  • Evaluate and improve current processes and practices to recognise any efficiencies that could be undertaken.

Your Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

  • Working command of Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, basic formulas and look up tables
  • Project management experience, happy to implement new processes or controls
  • Minimum 2 years in a similar role within Finance, Treasury experience
  • Previous bank reconciliations experience crucial both off and on system
  • Sound grasp of journal process to ensure accurate reconciliations
  • Ability to re-engineer cashier processes where required
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines, proven experience managing and leading transformation.
  • Strong people management, manage meetings, strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Microsoft Office proficient, excellent attention to detail and highly organised. Confident in prioritising effectively.
  • Restriction on holidays on the first 4 workings days of the month to meet reporting requirements. Able to work from home or the office location based on need/guidelines.
  • Eligible to work in the UK
