We are recruiting an IBA Cashier to join our Finance team based in Glasgow. You liaise with our branches to help them resolve any transactions that seem out of place. It's a dynamic but in-depth role that needs your full attention.

Do you possess a confident telephone manner and work with conviction? You'll extract the correct information from every phone call, staying on track and focussed to resolve the challenges that arise.

We would love for you to come from a similar background but as long as you have superb social skills and natural analytical skills, we're happy. Your aim is to deliver a strong track record of results and take pride in achieving your objectives.

Your Role:

  • You seek to resolve any issues on insurer transactions; by having open and frank conversations. Ensuring you reconcile statements & accounting systems every month. It's critical to have high accuracy standards, we're counting on you to get it right.
  • Your deal with settlements, making sure they don't result in funding transactions. You assist in the remediation of any funded items; evaluate the invoice listing report ensuring all items are correct and then settled accordingly.

Your Experience, Knowledge & Skills:

  • A university degree preferable but not essential but we would like you to have a deep knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • With a basic grasp of insurance products or even previous experience of working within financial services; you're a really valued member of our highly effective team.
  • You have excellent attention to detail and customer service focus, you're empathetic with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Multi-tasking and planning are your key strengths. Your ability to prioritise workload and operate to strict deadlines is paramount and adds to your success.
  • You have eligibility to work in the UK
