Our HR Technology Consulting Practice helps clients navigate the complex and ever changing world of HR Technology with Research, Strategy Development, Vendor Sourcing, Implementation and more. Our Technology Consulting includes a focus in Benefit Administration, HCM, COBRA, Spending Accounts and Leave Management, Learning Management.

As an HR Technology Consultant with Gallagher, you’ll enjoy a variety of interesting and important client consulting engagements, helping firms strategize, buy, implement or optimize their HR technology. You will be supported by highly skilled, passionate teammates, a culture of ethics and kindness and the financial stability  of our 94 year old firm.
 

Responsibilities/Duties:

1. Executes against staff development programs that support the organization’s succession planning objectives and foster a highly effective management and leadership structure.
2. Organize and execute business projects on behalf of clients according to client’s requirements; manages large complex projects and manages multiple concurrent projects
  • Effectively engage with clients
  • Build ongoing relationships and may develop new business with new and existing clients
  • Draw upon personal and company knowledge, trends, and experiences to highlight relevant implications for clients  
  • Facilitate interviews for data gathering
  • Prepare proposals when appropriate  
  • Manage budget & monitor projects
  • Develop work plans
  • Create work processes 
3. Defines the problem through management consultations, team meetings, case framework analysis, and other applicable strategies
4. Breaks the problem into small, manageable segments; identifies the factors that affect the problem; decides how to approach the project
5. Conducts objective research on current market trends, competitors, product demands, and other related topics to support critical analysis at an advanced level
6. Checks and analyzes information such as financial status, business flows, and other relevant data to support the project outcome
7. Attends regular meetings and reports project progress to management and exchanges detailed information that will require action by others
8. Brainstorms, finalizes, and presents recommendations for solutions to the business dilemma with ample justification and practical advice
9. Retainer Client Recommendation - fields client and consultant questions 
10. Participate in Vertical Project assignments

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 10 or more years of related work experience, typically in a management consulting environment.

Desired:

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related discipline.
  • Experience with a variety of industries and healthcare organizations a plus, with outstanding communication skills appropriate for board-level and senior management discussions.

Work Traits:

  • Highly leveraged, primarily through building business with current clients and developing business with new clients.
  • Leads the client relationship on multiple large or targeted clients.
  • Manages the client relationship(s), team(s) and assignment(s) in an oversight/review /quality assurance capacity.
  • Communicates effectively in client situations (Board of Directors, HR Lead, Finance Lead, etc.)
  • May team with more experienced consultant(s) on strategic issues or on large opportunities.
  • Leads new business development efforts as they become available.
  • Manages a large portion of the client portfolio and/or associate population.
  • Possesses deep understanding of regulatory and legislative rules.

 

U.S. Eligibility Requirements:
