Position Summary:

The Financial Analyst evaluates financial health of the business by preparing and analyzing financial results, forecasts, budgets and ad hoc analysis.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

·       Serve as business partner to field leadership by providing support, and financial and operational analysis, which is relied on to make informed business decisions.

·       Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with budgets and forecasts. Investigate variances and identify trends and recommend actions. 

·       Drive productivity by streamlining and automating processes, eliminating manual processes and duplications, and coordinating information requirements.

·       Collaborate with business partners on monthly forecasting of revenue and expenses.

·       Key stakeholder and participant in the development of the annual operating budget and dominant priority strategy document.

·       Participate in monthly close processes and financial reporting.

·       Ad hoc reporting and analysis, including cost of benefit, return on investment and financial modeling.

·       Work closely with Accounting team and engage in cross functional training.

Required:

·       Requires bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of related experience

o   Prefer degree in Finance or Accounting

·       Very Strong PC and Microsoft application skills

o   Excel expertise required (pivots, V-lookups)

·       Cognos and JDEdwards General Ledger knowledge preferred, not required

·       18 years of age or older.
