How would you like to be a part of our friendly, focused and professional finance team? We're looking for a new assistant, to carry out daily finance duties which include reconciling client accounts, matching payments and other adhoc finance duties . You'll deal with month end reporting as well as dealing with internal and external stake holders whilst supporting the Credit Control Manager.

Your role focuses heavily on maintaining high standards, in a demanding environment whilst ensuring accuracy. Can you show us your proven track record in a previous role?

Your role:

  • Maintain the General Ledger to a high standard, ensuring accurate and timely information is always available. 
  • You take pride in building strong and effective working relationships with colleagues. You'll work collaboratively with the consultants to produce and process monthly sales invoices.
  • Being astute and commercially aware of your outstanding monies owed, you'll chase debtors as necessary. You use your analytical skills to ensure accounts are consistent where appropriate.
  • You assess current processes and procedures and consider how these can be improved; making valued suggestions and assisting in helping with the necessary changes. We love to hear your thoughts and ideas and actively encourage change where necessary.
  • Support the Finance Team with the integration of new acquisitions into the group


Do you have what we are looking for?

We need a good standard of general education including Maths and English coupled with a willingness to progress to a recognised accountancy qualification (AAT, ACCA or CIMA) in time.

You're a proficient user of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and general IT literacy. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and accuracy.

You ensure that individually and as a company we “Treat Customers Fairly”

We like the fact that you have experience within a similar role or industry - Financial or management accounts experience would suffice.

You're numerate, understanding the importance of accuracy, honesty, integrity and trust. Your business insight and functional excellence allow you to be an ambitious over-achiever keen to develop within our international organisation.

You have eligibility to work in the UK.
