The HRCC team is looking for an Executive Recruiter to join their growing practice. The Executive Recruiter will assist and support the MSA Executive Search process through the identification, development, and maintenance of an up to date national network of key professionals in the healthcare field, as well as the execution of a research plan for each assigned search that screens candidates matching the required specification for timely referral to Consultant.

 
Duties include:
 
Research and Sourcing
  • Work in partnership with the Executive Search Consultant utilizing client and position materials as well as profile information provided by consultant to develop a comprehensive, customized research plan for each new search assigned that will meet the unique strategic and leadership needs of the client organization.  Will be assigned to highly political and public projects including CEO, CMO and other C-Suite positions.
  • Facilitate ongoing information exchange via personal contact, telephone and email with the Consultant regarding the status of search, including timely research summaries addressing success with sources and questions arising from preliminary conversations with candidates and sources.
  • Review internal sources to include assessed candidate files, active resumes currently on file with MSA Executive Search, and networking with HRCC consultants for potential candidates.
  • Generate new sources for candidate referrals through external research to include Internet resources, healthcare and related publications, professional associations, and develop key contacts through extensive telephone, personal contact and social media networking.
  • Develop and maintain an active professional LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook account and utilize appropriately to post jobs and attract potential candidates..
  • Present a slate of candidates, representing exceptional talent and fit with the client and position needs.
  • Research the Internet, current trade journals, social media sites, business and reference directories and associations for sources of potential talent; items to consider might include advertising information, mailing list availability, references to current industry leaders, association members, and Board leaders, and notices of meetings, symposiums, etc.
  • Partner with the Consultant to assist in any manner throughout the search process that will facilitate the timely completion of the search through the identification of exceptional candidates.
  • Perform pre-onsite activities to include the following:  request community information; obtain web-site information related to the hospital and community; run queries on Billians, Hospital Compare, etc; obtain relevant reports; pull closed search information from Encore, old profiles, ads, target letters, and prepare files for the Consultant.

Application of Research Results/Interviewing

  • Develop and refer to the Consultant a preliminary listing of potential candidates identified through the research effort, to include a brief background summary acquired through an initial screening phone interview with potential candidates; develop a profile for each candidate that includes work history, compensation information, professional goals and evaluative comments.
  • In coordination with the Executive Search Consultant, develop cadre of top candidates to continue with personal interviews conducted by the Consultant.
  • As needed, assist Executive Search Consultants in writing organization, position, and candidate profiles, to include candidate reference checking. Communicate with Candidate Care Coordinator, clients and candidates as necessary to assist with coordinating schedules, providing materials and answering questions and concerns.
 

Data Maintenance & Knowledge Management

  • Assist the administrative support staff in maintaining the Encore database to ensure the timely entry of candidate data, sources, and referral sources.
  • Continually reference the Internet, appropriate publications, and association websites, newsletters and personal contacts regarding current healthcare issues and leadership changes.
  • Maintain current knowledge of healthcare issues, trends, organizations and leaders through the use of available Integrated Healthcare Strategies and MSA Executive Search resources, review of relevant journals, Internet sources and publications; proactively build a strong personal contact network within the healthcare industry.

Client/Candidate Relations

  • Develop and maintain responsive, positive relationships in all assigned client and candidate interactions.
  • Maintain the highest level of professionalism in demeanor, including appropriate language and approach in telephone, email and written correspondence, highest level of business professional standards
Training/Mentoring
  • Recognize that the client is the focus of the effort and services provided by HRCC and MSA Executive Search and is appropriate in behavior and approach whenever interacting with a client or discussing a client with someone else.
  • Assist with training new Recruiters.
  • Provide active input and leadership in the ongoing assessment of practice processes and service line products to ensure quality of customer and candidate experience.
  • Provide periodic training for team members on relevant topic.
Requirements are:
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a healthcare related field required. Masters preferred.
  • Experience: Seven to ten years recruiting experience with prior experience in healthcare recruiting or executive search preferred.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to exercise persistence and resourcefulness in the search for specialized information, including extensive telephone networking.
  • Strong business development and client-facing consulting skills.Clear, concise, professional written and oral communications.
  • Professional phone demeanor.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle challenging client and candidate issues in a wide range of organizations with skill and tact.
  • Possess the knowledge and experience to work independently on own assignments and help provide guidance to other recruiters.
