How will I contribute to the business?

As the GBS Divisional Solutions Architect-Salesforce, you will perform hands-on technical implementation, project management, Salesforce.com administration and system evangelizing. You will also be responsible for executing day-to-day configuration, training, maintenance, and improvement to the platform. You will define & create reports as needed and evaluate data.  You will work to ensure data integrity across the organization, maintaining a reporting dictionary defining core measures on all Salesforce items built.  You will work with senior leadership within GBS to provide solution options that support the internal sales and financial goals of the division.

  • You will analyzes requirements and system capabilities to provide feedback, gap analysis, and solution proposals
  • You will assist in defining required features and mapping Salesforce.com features to business processes
  • You will assist with API integrations with other systems – MS Exchange, Enterprise Telephony, and ETL tools
  • You will oversee the feature request backlog and work with the Director/Leader to prioritize and execute
  • You will implement enhancements and roll-out new features to the Salesforce.com platform
  • You will work with internal clients to develop and document clear, testable requirements

  • You will identify best-practices supporting business performance relating to efficiency and improved customer service

  • You will identify systems and process barriers to generate ideas for improvement

  • You will provide training support to stakeholders, team members and end-users on how to effectively use both Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, as well as reporting & analytical tools

  • You will create and maintain on-going documentation processes as business needs evolve or features are added

  • You will work directly with stakeholders, external vendors, and Software Engineers to plan and implement technical solutions

  • You will create and maintain reports and dashboards in Salesforce.com, SQL Reporting, MS Excel, and other BI reporting tools

 What skills will make me successful in this role?

  • You have implementation experience with Custom Objects, Workflows, Formulas, and Validations Rules
  • You have a deep understanding of native Salesforce features and functionality, as well as the ability to model a role hierarchy, data model, and appropriate sharing mechanisms

  • You focus on off-platform systems, integration, securing access between systems as well as managing governance and testing capabilities for deployment and ongoing Salesforce modification requirements

  • You are familiar with Salesforce APIs and integrations

  • You have an intermediate level of understanding of relational database methodology

  • You have an intermediate level of reporting tools such as Microsoft SQL Report Services and Power BI

  • You have experience with Microsoft Office products including Visio

  • You must be able to work independently and in a team environment but remotely

  • You are proactive with regards to problem-solving and strong analytical skills

  • You are able to manage multiple projects

  • You have good organizational skills and a strict attention to detail and proven ability to follow through

  • You have a commitment to and record of strong customer service



Do I have what it takes to be considered?

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5 years of related experience

Preferred Requirements:

  • 3+ years’ experience in a functional role within Salesforce.com administration at an enterprise level above 500 users preferred in Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud environments
  • You are familiar with Salesforce.com DataLoader required

  • You must possess intermediate SQL and advanced MS Excel

  • Experience within the benefits brokerage, insurance, financial services, or similar industry preferred
