District Sales Manager


Job Details:

  • Employment Status: Permanent/ Full Time

  • Area:

  • Starting Pay: Strong Salary plus solid commission, benefits, cell phone and mileage allowance

  • Hours of Operation: Monday – Sunday 8am to 8pm (depending on business needs)


Job Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  • Area Action Planning

  • Weekly Monday morning sales meetings

  • Participate in twice weekly conference calls

  • Performance Evaluations

  • Disciplinary Actions as needed

  • Conduct sales contest as deemed necessary

  • Have constant knowledge of current sales status.

  • Ensure that opening & closings are being reported on a timely manner

  • Works closely with agency managers with marketing.

  • Work closely with agency managers with weekly & monthly planning for the agency.

  • Assist with training with Agency Managers/Sales Agents i.e. customer service, sales skills, vendor relations, etc.

  • Provide feedback on agency sale strategies & following of company procedures.

  • Maintain constant communication with Sales Agency Managers & other District Managers

  • Daily interaction/feedback to Operations Manager regarding status any particular agency

  • Contribute to Agency Growth, Agency Management, Sales Manager guidance & Area relationships



Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.

  • Must have sales management experience, district-level management experience preferred.

  • Should have insurance industry experience, insurance license a plus.

  • Ability to read financial statements such as P&L statements, sales projections, indicator reports, etc.
