Position Summary:

As a Customer Service Representative for our Association Programs team, you will answer questions and provide administrative support about benefits available to members of our client associations.

Essential Duties:

  • You will support inbound/outbound calls and emails related to retail benefits, continuing education courses, insurance benefits, a variety of personal benefits, as well as other benefits included by our association clients.
  • You will respond to inquiries about reasons for denying applications, reasons for canceling coverage, or other policy questions.
  • You will also be directing client inquiries to the appropriate parties, if we cannot provide the information being requested.
  • You will processes documents, such as addendums for group insurance policies, association packets, and review other requests necessary to ensure a successful resolution.
  • You will handle inquiries regarding our associations and their products, and assist with using our websites.
  • You will receive and respond to customer service inquiries both written and verbal.
  • You will follow up on customer issues and research problems.

Required:

  • High school diploma
  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience
  • Strong typing and basic computer skills

Preferred:

  • Working knowledge of MS systems, i.e., MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Outlook and MS Word
  • Property and Casualty Licensed

Work Traits:

  • You should have good verbal communication skills
  • You should maintain a high level of professionalism with clients and establish a positive rapport with every caller
U.S. Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.  For U.S. employment opportunities, Gallagher hires U.S. citizens, permanent residents, asylees, refugees, and temporary residents. Temporary residence does not include those with non-immigrant work authorization (F, J, H or L visas), such as students in practical training status. Exceptions to these requirements will be determined based on shortage of qualified candidates with a particular skill. Gallagher will require proof of work authorization
  • Must be willing to execute Gallagher's Employee Agreement or Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement, which require, among other things, post-employment obligations relating to non-solicitation, confidentiality and non-disclosure
